Stockholm’s raw-rock agitators Giftorm are officially confirmed for UNDERGOTH FESTIVAL #1 — landing in Gothenburg on July 4 for a night built on volume, identity, and unapologetic live energy.
Giftorm is a Stockholm-based rock band channeling punk urgency through distorted guitars, heavy basslines, restless rhythms, and experimental textures. Formed by high school friends united by chaos, curiosity, and sheer decibels, the band thrives on performances that feel more like a surge than a set — alive, physical, and impossible to ignore.
Sonically, Giftorm pulls from classic rock foundations but refuses to stay there. Their sound pushes into hardcore punk intensity, krautrock repetition, and occasional electronic detours — balancing nostalgia with unpredictability. Lyrically, they explore alienation, confusion, and the friction between impulse and consequence, often grounded in everyday behaviors and emotional breakdowns.
With their self-titled debut album out now on all major platforms, Giftorm is stepping into a year packed with live shows — and Gothenburg is next.
